Product Warranties

PrimerDesign Ltd kits are guaranteed to meet or exceed our published specifications when used with the recommended protocols in your laboratory. If our products fail to meet said specifications, and we are notified within 60 days of product shipment, then our policy is to provide a prompt replacement. Our obligation and your sole remedy is limited to such replacement of the product in the event that the product is defective. No other warranties are expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. PrimerDesign Ltd shall have no liability for direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use, results of use, or inability to use its products.

Product Use Limitations

DNA primer based products by PrimerDesign Ltd are distributed for research use only in real time PCR. They have not been approved for diagnostic or drug purposes, nor for administration to humans or animals. As research reagents, kit products from PrimerDesign Ltd are experimental materials that should be used only by technically qualified investigators or by persons directly under their supervision. Compliance with local, national, and international regulations concerning their use is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Unless explicitly stated, no license, patent or other rights are granted by PrimerDesign and PrimerDesign Ltd does not assert or warrant that any product sold or supplied by it to any purchaser or prospective user, or thereafter used in any manner or for Real-Time PCR

Real Time PCR primers PrimerDesign specialise in high quality gene detection and real time PCR gene quantification kits based on our PerfectProbe technology.  The PerfectProbes are more sensitive than Taqman and Molecular beacon probes thanks to an improvement in  signal to noise ratio.  PrimerDesign also provides real time PCR primer design and validation services for use with SYBR green.  Primer design real time PCR assaysare free from primer dimer issues.  We also offer real time PCR primer design consultancy and contract research solutions.  In addition we can provide real time PCR reagents including qPCR mastermix, reverse transcription kits (reverse transcriptase, dNTP, random hexamer or oligo dT), real time PCR protocols, primer design and oligonucleotide synthesis.  We are leading the field of housekeeping gene selection by offering housekeeping gene selection kits based on geNorm technology.  We are the supplier for choice for real time PCR primers.  Supported species include zebra fish, arabidopsis, c.elegans, xenopus, sheep.  Specialist products include genomic gDNA detection, Internal PCR control, PCR internal control and RNA quality control multiplex.

Pathogen Detection Kits

Real time PCR primers for human virus diseases and bacterial pathogens.  Human Immunodeficiency Virus type 1 (HIV-1) Primer design. Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) real time PCR kits.  Epstein Barr Virus (EBV) and Cytomegalovirus (CMV) primers.  Human Papillomavirus 6, Papillomavirus 11, Human Papillomavirus 16, Papillomavirus 18 detection with real time PCR.  Mycobacterium Tuberculosis (TB) PCR.  Herpes simplex type 1 (HSV-1) and Herpes simplex type 2 HSV-2) detection kits.  Respiratory Syncytial Virus type A (RSV-A) and Respiratory Syncytial Virus type B (RSV-B).  Virus Real time PCR detection kits are supplied with a positive control and standard curve for copy number calculation and viral load estimation.  Kits are sold for research purposes and are not licensed for diagnostic procedures.  Other kits available include Parainfluenza virus type 1 (PIV) Parainfluenza virus type 2 (HPIV-2) and Parainfluenza virus type 3 (PIV-3) primers for PCR.  An emerging threat to world health, primer design supplies PCR detection kits for avian influenza subtype H5N1.  haemoglutinin H5 and neuraminidase N1 genes are both detected.  Other respiratory viruses include Adenovirus (HAdV) types C, D and F and G and metapneumovirus primers (HMNV).  Human Human rhinovirus 16 and human rhinovirus 1B.  Primer design does not supply diagnostic kits for human diseases
