Sample data for RNA extraction control

A 10 fold serial dilution of HCV positive control template was run on the bio-rad IQ5 system (blue traces).  In parallel, and on the same plate, the same dilution series was run with the RNA internal control included (orange traces).  Amplification of the internal control sequence did not affect the sensitivity of the target gene primers or the CT values of the plots.   HCV standard curve with 10 fold serial dilutions (efficiency 96%)       HCV standard curve with 10 fold serial dilutions including internal control (efficiency 99%)
