Our Reverse Transcriptase enzyme is especially modified to work at high temperatures. Higher reaction temperatures reduce the RNA secondary structure (tangling) and allow the production of longer transcripts and make for faster reactions. The enzyme also has an increased affinity for primer-template complexes which allow for efficient transcription of very low amounts of RNA.

Although PrimerDesign recommends Oligo-dT priming for most applications, a random nonamer primer is included in the kit in case this is your preferred strategy.
